On Saturday, April 17, the Posey County Health Department plans to hold a drive-up, no-appointment vaccination clinic.

The health department will be administering the Moderna vaccine during the clinic. Individuals who receive the vaccine on April 17 will then return to receive their second dose on May 15.

The clinic will not be exclusive to Posey County residents, according to PCHD. Anyone over the age of 18 will be able to receive the vaccine at the clinic.

The COVID-19 vaccine is being administered free of charge, but license and insurance information will be required. Anyone without insurance is still eligible to receive the vaccine.

For now, the exact location and time of the drive-up vaccination clinic hasn't been finalized. PCHD says that information will be released as soon as it becomes available.

"If you have not had your vaccine and maybe you are having a hard time trying to schedule a time for yours that fits into your schedule, please just show up on April 17th anytime that is good for you during the scheduled vaccine clinic to get your immunization," PCHD said.

You can check for updates on the clinic on the Posey County Health Department Facebook page.
