Ivy Tech in Evansville will be the site of a public meeting for people to provide feedback on Indiana's redistricting process.

State Rep. Tim O'Brien (R-Evansville) says, "Public input is vital and I encourage Hoosiers to attend a redistricting meeting to learn more and share their thoughts."

The state is required to redraw its districts for the U.S. House of Representatives, the Indiana House of Representatives, and Indiana Senate after the nationwide census every 10 years.

Meetings are being held in each of Indiana's nine congressional districts, grouped into geographic areas.

Those who wish to speak are asked to sign up beforehand.

The meeting is slated for 9-11am on Saturday, August 7, at The Commons on Ivy Tech's campus.

The bitterly cold start to our Wednesday will inevitably lead to a cooler-than-average afternoon across the Tri-State. We're currently expecting an afternoon high of 26° in Evansville on Wednesday afternoon (that’s 17° below average for this time of the year). Temperatures will once again dive back down towards the teens for many of us overnight and into early Thursday. As for right now Thursday morning looks as though will be slightly warmer, but only just - believes model data indicates that we will see a morning low temperature of 14° under partly cloudy skies in Evansville tomorrow morning.
