It's still a cold start to our morning across the area, but definitely a big improvement from the low 20s yesterday morning. Thankfully, today's conditions are going to be on an upward turn. As high pressure remains in control to the south of us, the Tri-State will remain dry with winds out of the southwest. Some of those winds could become gusty at times. It's going to be a great day to enjoy some time outside with the sunshine and mild temperatures. Highs are expected to reach the high 40s and low 50s.
The Tri-State will stay dry tonight, but clouds will gradually increase into Thursday morning. Lows tonight will drop into the 30
to 35 degree range.
Right now, models are showing some possible activity as we head into tomorrow afternoon. A cold front will move through the Tri-State Thursday afternoon and evening. It doesn't look to be a huge rainmaker, but could cool us down quite a bit as we head into the weekend. We'll go from a high of 50° tomorrow to 42° on Friday.
