The search continues in Evansville for a missing mom and her family is hoping to bring more awareness to her case.

It's been nearly two months since Dawnita Wilkerson went missing. Her family says they last saw her on June 21. On Saturday, Aug. 15, Wilkerson's family and friends will gather in hopes of bringing Dawnita home.

Speakers, food trucks, and a DJ will all be at Garvin Park on the 15th. "Show Up For Dawnita" will kick off at 11:00 a.m. and will last throughout the day.

Wilkerson's family is hoping to raise money for several purposes. Proceeds from the event will go toward caring for Wilkerson's children, money for a reward and to help cover costs in efforts to find her.

If you have any information on Wilkerson's whereabouts, you are asked to contact Evansville Police or call the anonymous We-Tip Hot-line at 1-800-78-CRIME.
