More Than 230 New Cases In Indiana Counties; 5 New Deaths Reported

The Indiana State Department of Health is releasing the latest COVID-19 numbers Sunday.

According to state officials, there are 1,629 new COVID-19 cases across the state and 19 new deaths.

This brings the total statewide to 147,582 cases and 3,704 deaths.

As of Sunday, our Indiana Tri-State counties are reporting 232 new cases and 5 new deaths.

Two deaths were reported in each Pike and Dubois county, while Vanderburgh County adds 1.

This comes only one day after Vanderburgh County hit their highest one-day total with 140 COVID-19 cases reported Saturday along with one death.

Here are the latest numbers:

Vanderburgh: 5,477, including 50 deaths
Warrick: 1,853 including 62 deaths
Gibson: 822 including 9 deaths
Posey: 669 including 5 deaths
Knox: 686 including 10 deaths
Dubois: 1,334 including 23 deaths
Spencer: 365 including 6 deaths
Daviess: 827, including 32 deaths
Perry: 282, including 14 deaths
Pike: 315 including 12 deaths
