Mt. Carmel Public Library Closes Due to Positive COVID-19 Test

The Mt. Camel Public Library has closed for two weeks after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The Mt. Camel Public Library in Mt. Carmel, Illinois, announced on Facebook it has closed down for two weeks following a positive COVID-19 test from an employee.

According to the library's announcement, the employee who tested positive was working in the library at 727 N Mulberry St on Monday, Aug. 10, and Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Library officials will spend the two-week closure cleaning the library.
