Muhlenberg County Reports 15 New Coronavirus Cases

There are currently 202 active cases in the county, according to the health department.

The Muhlenberg County Health Department announced 15 new cases of COVID-19 were detected Monday.

That brings the total number of cases to 1,806 cases. There are currently 202 active cases in the county, according to the health department.

The health department will be out providing free testing.

The Beechmont Community Center hosts a free testing site on December 28.

Another testing site is going up at the Nelson Creek Baptist Church on January 4, 2021.

Both of the testing sites are free.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
