Muhlenberg County Reports New COVID-19 Death

The COVID-19 death of a Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, resident was reported on Thursday evening by the local health department.

One new COVID-19 death was reported in Muhlenberg County on Thursday by the local health department.

There are now nine total COVID-19 deaths to date in the county according to the Muhlenberg County Health Department.

No new positive cases of coronavirus were reported in Muhlenberg County on Thursday, which left the county's total number of identified COVID-19 cases to date at 580

Currently, there are 38 active cases of COVID-19 in the county. 533 Muhlenberg County residents have recovered from the virus. 

As of Thursday throughout the state of Kentucky, there were 21,083 total positive coronavirus cases, 650 total COVID-19 deaths, and 507,197 total Kentuckians tested - showing a positivity rate of 4.38%.
