Multiple Crews Respond to Possible Petroleum Leak at Newburgh Gas Station

Multiple crews are currently on the scene of a possible petroleum leak at the Sunrise Gas Station at SR 261 and Peachwood Drive in Newburgh.

Multiple Fire Crews responded to the scene of a hazmat situation at a gas station in Newburgh on Wednesday.

Emergency crews responded to the Sunrise Gas Station at SR 261 and Peachwood Drive reported on Wednesday after the smell of petroleum was reported in the station and are attempting to detect any possible leaks from the gas tanks.

Multiple crews from Warrick County and Vanderburgh County were on the scene to control the situation and the Warrick County Sheriff's Office was on-scene for traffic control.
