A new arcade bar has opened in downtown Evansville, Indiana.

"The Arcademie" held its soft opening over the weekend and will be open on regular hours as of Tuesday.

Currently, the bar/arcade combo offers 45 different games, with other games in storage to rotate into play. That includes multiple pinball machines and classic arcade games.

While some games are paid, the bar says many are also free to play.

According to online hours posted for The Arcademie, the business is closed on Mondays and open from Tuesday through Sunday.

The new arcade bar occupies the historic O'Donnell Building at 22 NW 6th St., which has housed a variety of businesses over the years, including a vacuum shop that closed in 1997 after 52-years in operation.

You can see more from The Arcademie on its Facebook page.

We headed out to cloudy skies and some damp conditions this morning across the Tri-State. We've been tracking scattered showers for the first part of the day. While it’s been mostly cloudy, there will be some sunshine as soon as we get the rain out of the area. Temperatures are still expected to reach unseasonably warm values this afternoon. With some sunshine and winds out of the southwest highs should have no problem reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. Clouds will clear out, but the southerly wind flow will keep overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow morning won't be all that bad considering it will be December 2nd.
