According to the Green River District Health Department's Wednesday update, four new COVID-19 deaths have occurred in western Kentucky counties within its district - two in Hancock County, and two in McLean County.
Following Wednesday's update, the total number of COVID-19 deaths in McLean County rose to six, and the total number of COVID-19 deaths in Hancock County to 5.
Also included in GRDHD's Wednesday report was the confirmation of 63 new positive cases of COVID-19 throughout the health department's seven-county district.
New Positive Cases Reported in Each County:
- Daviess County: 27
- Hancock County: 3
- Henderson County: 22
- McLean County: 5
- Ohio County: 2
- Union County: 3
- Webster County: 1
So far, 5,530 total positive COVID-19 cases have now been reported throughout the district to date.
