New COVID-19 Deaths Reported in Vanderburgh, Daviess Counties

The Indiana State Department of Health said Tuesday that new COVID-19 deaths had been identified in both Vanderburgh and Daviess counties.

New COVID-19 deaths are being reported in Vanderburgh and Daviess counties by the Indiana State Department of Health.

ISDH said Tuesday that one new COVID-19 death had occurred in each of those counties.

Statewide, 67 new COVID-19 deaths were reported Tuesday, including the new deaths reported in our local counties. 

Now, ISDH says 11,526 total Hoosiers have died from COVID-19 to date.

According to the state health department, 1,225 new positive cases of COVID-19 were also identified throughout Indiana on Tuesday. That brought the number of Hoosiers now known to have contracted COVID-19 to date to 641,874 total.

In southwest Indiana, minuscule numbers of new positive COVID-19 cases were reported in most counties Tuesday. The only county showing a double-digit increase of new positive cases Tuesday was Vanderburgh County, where 41 new positive COVID-19 cases were reported.
