New COVID-Related Death Reported In Dubois County

More COVID-related cases reported in Dubois County.

Another death from COVID-19 has been reported in the Tri-State.

The Dubois County Health Department has reported a new related death of a Dubois County resident.

"We mourn the death and extend our prayers and sympathies to the individuals's family and friends," said Dr. Ted Walfart, Dubois County Health Officer.

"This serves as an unfortunate reminder to all of the Dubois County community about the importance of following the recommended guidelines to stop the spread of this virus and help protect our most vulnerable neighbors."

There were 28 new positive cases of COVID-19.  This brings the total number of positive cases to 514. 

The latest death bring the total number of Dubois County residents passing away to 11.

299 residents have recovered from COVID-19.

"We cannot stress enough for you all to wear a mask when around others, practicing social distancing, and wash your hands frequently," said Dr. Walfart.
