In a press release sent out Monday evening, Evansville Police say an investigation has determined there may be other victims of crimes committed by Heidi Carter and Carey Hammond.

Carter is the suspect who was arrested after police officers responded to a possible kidnapping on October 19th.

Officers responded to a home in the 1800 block of Stinson Avenue, and determined it to be the location of a series of violent crimes including criminal confinment, rape, and murder.

Carey Hammond exited the home pointing what appeared to be a firearm. He was fatally shot by police.

The Evansville Police Department Adult Investigations Unit is asking that any additional victims or anyone with information contact detectives.
