A new exhibit is now on display outside the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science in Evansville, Indiana.
The new sculpture, called "Stargazer," was created by sculptor Gino Miles.
44News caught up with the artist on Thursday. He shared his inspiration for the piece, which is part of the "Knot Series."
"The Knot Series, I started doing in about 2008," said Miles. "They were inspired by how morning glories tangled themselves to grow."
"I saw this morning glory growing on my fence, and I snipped it," Miles continued. "That winter I was looking for something to make and I made the first morning glory. And that was in 2008, since then I've probably made a couple hundred. And they're all over the world."

In addition to the new outdoor piece, the Evansville Museum says a new solo exhibition of Miles' work will be on display in its Begley Art Gallery. That exhibition will be unveiled at the museum from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
