Due to the severity of the flooding, students had to learn virtually temporarily while crews worked to clean up the damage.

District officials also said that the extensive damage caused by the water would likely keep the gymnasium at Northeast Dubois Intermediate School closed for the remainder of the current school year and possibly longer.

We headed out to cloudy skies and some damp conditions this morning across the Tri-State. We've been tracking scattered showers for the first part of the day. While it’s been mostly cloudy, there will be some sunshine as soon as we get the rain out of the area. Temperatures are still expected to reach unseasonably warm values this afternoon. With some sunshine and winds out of the southwest highs should have no problem reaching the upper 50s and lower 60s. Clouds will clear out, but the southerly wind flow will keep overnight lows in the low to mid 40s. Tomorrow morning won't be all that bad considering it will be December 2nd.
