One Injured in Newburgh House Fire

One person was injured in a Sunday morning Newburgh house fire.

One person is recovering after suffering injuries from a house fire in Newburgh.

On Sunday morning, authorities responded to a house fire on Lincoln Avenue.

Upon arrival, they found the fire, engulfing the entire house. The fire department was quick to put the fire out and no other injuries occurred.

The house is a total loss, including the car located inside the garage when the fire broke out.

Authorities believe the home's electrical could have ignited the fire.

The cause is still under investigation at this time.

We'll fall to 42° in Evansville setting the stage for yet another mild, albeit far less quiet Tuesday ahead.
