According to a statement issued on Monday by Family Video's parent company, Highland Ventures, LTD, the Family Video location in Newburgh is currently liquidating its inventory and will be closed before the end of 2020.

"We are very thankful to have been able to provide entertainment for many family movie nights, and want to thank the people of Newburgh and our incredible staff for the many years of support and service.", said Keith Hoogland, CEO of Highland Ventures, LTD.

The Newburgh Family Video location is now available for lease/purchase and will officially close once inventory is sold out.

While the chain's Newburgh location will soon be no more, 250 other Family Video stores will continue to operate across the midwest.

The Family Video Newburgh location is located at 4011 SR 261.
