In January 2020, an investigation by the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office began after WCSO received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
The investigation led to probable cause for a search warrant, which was obtained and executed by WCSO Detectives on July 28 at a residence in the 8900 block of Camelot Drive in Newburgh, Indiana.
WCSO says during the search of the residence child sexual abuse material was located, and 27-year-old Anthony Jordan Richardson of Newburgh was taken into custody.
Richardson was charged with the following:
- Child Exploitation, a Level 4 felony (3 Counts)
- Child Exploitation, a Level 5 felony
- Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 5 felony (3 Counts)
- Possession of Child Pornography, a Level 6 Felony
Richardson was lodged in the Warrick County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond.
All suspects are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
