Portion of North Elm Street in Henderson to Remain Closed Through Early July

The 600 block of North Elm Street in Henderson will likely remain closed through early July while work is completed in the area, according to the city.

A contractor for the City of Henderson will be extending recent repair work on the 600 block of North Elm Street, according to officials with the City of Henderson, Kentucky.

The city says the 600 block of North Elm will likely remain closed through early July.

Motorists are advised to use caution in the area and plan for a detour.

The completion of the project is weather-dependent, so rain could change the start or length of time the street remains closed.

We woke up to dry and cold conditions this Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, there won’t be any drastic changes this afternoon. Increasing cloud cover will be likely as a cold northerly flow continues ushering in chilly air. Highs won’t be going very far, we’ll likely only reach the mid to upper 30s Tri-State wide. We’re tracking a little bit of winter weather out to our north and west. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight with a chance of flurries/light rain. It won't be a big snow by any stretch, but you could see some flurries flying Tuesday night into Wednesday morning around the Tri-State. Don't expect more than a dusting, with greater chances falling north of I-64.
