North Posey schools are coming face to face with learning.
In order to make that happen some big changes were made, like no more field trips or student assemblies.
Administrators say those are necessary decisions to ensure students avoid large crowds while still getting the proper education they deserve in the classroom. "We think it's very important that students are in front of the teachers and in the building. And there's nothing that can replace that. E learning is a great tool but long term, students need to be in front of their teachers. And we believe that our teachers do a great job both e learning and in class but in class is much better," explains North Posey Superintendent Todd Camp
North Posey school officials acknowledge the health department can shut them down at any time if they deem necessary. E-learning plans are in place for that possibility.
