Northeast Dubois Elementary School Reports Positive COVID-19 Case

Northeast Dubois Elementary has been made aware of a positive clinical diagnosed case of COVID-19, according to the Northeast Dubois County School Corporation.

The Northeast Dubois County School Corporation (NDCSC) is reporting a positive case of COVID-19 within one of its schools.

According to an announcement made by NDCSC around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday night, Northeast Dubois Elementary has been made aware of a positive clinical diagnosed case of COVID-19.

The school corporation says all close contacts have been identified and contacted by school officials, and are being required to quarantine for 14 days.

The announcement from NDCSC goes on to say the corporation is doing everything possible to keep all students and staff safe while following guidelines from the local health department.

NDCSC's announcement doesn't specify whether the individual who tested positive for COVID-19 is a student or a member of the school's staff.
