OPD: Man Charged In Stabbing Incident

In Owensboro, police say a man is charged with First Degree Assault after a stabbing incident Friday evening.

In Owensboro, police say a man is charged with First Degree Assault after a stabbing incident Friday evening.

Owensboro Police say they responded to the 400 Block of West Legion Boulevard Friday night just before 9 p.m. for a reported stabbing.

Police say the victim left the scene in a vehicle and was found a short time later with multiple stab wounds which police say are belived to be potentially life threatening.

Detective responded to investigate and charged 27-year-old Tyler Miller with 1st Degree Assault.

Miller is currently booked in the Daviess County Detention Center.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
