The body of a missing man has been recovered from the Ohio River in Owensboro, Kentucky.
Authorities had been searching since Monday after a boat that was traveling along the Ohio River in Owensboro took on water and began to sink around 1:53 a.m. that morning.



Four of the five individuals that were inside the boat were able to swim to shore safely, but the search for the boat's fifth occupant, a 20-year-old male, continued until Tuesday afternoon when the body was recovered at 12:38 p.m.
Owensboro Police, along with the Daviess County Fire Department, Daviess County Emergency Management, the Daviess County Sheriff's Office, and Henderson Fire Department were all involved in searching the river for the male.
