One Person Shot Near Hicks Drive In Evansville

Gunshot victim arrived to a local hospital around 5AM Wednesday Morning

Evansville Police continue to investigate a shooting that took place near Hicks Drive Wednesday morning.

According to EPD, a gunshot victim arrived to a local hospital around 5AM.  Victim told an officer at the hospital that he argued with a female and another male near the 1600 block of Hicks Drive.  During the argument, the male suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim.

Victim is suspected to survive from the shooting but, didn't share with police any more information about the shooting.  The victim also elected to not press charges.
