According to the Evansville Police Department, the passenger of a vehicle involved in a Wednesday morning crash in Evansville is now in critical condition.
The crash happened around 6:00 a.m. on Wednesday at the intersection of I-69 and Lynch Rd.
An EPD Accident Reconstructionist was called to the scene of the crash and determined that a passenger car going east on Lynch Rd. turned into the path of an S.U.V. that was going west.
Police say two people from inside the passenger car were taken to the hospital, but that the driver of the passenger car had minimal injuries. The passenger of the vehicle sustained more substantial injuries and is listed in critical condition.
The sole occupant of the S.U.V. was taken to the hospital as well but was later released.
