The Indiana State Department of Health said Monday that 100,019 total individuals had now been fully vaccinated for COVID-19 in the Hoosier State.

Available COVID-19 vaccinations currently require recipients to receive two doses, meaning those 100,019 individuals vaccinated in the Hoosier State have rolled up their sleeves for the shot twice.

Additionally, ISDH says 440,822 individuals have received their first dose of the vaccine in the state so far, meaning they're scheduled to receive their second dose sometime within the coming weeks.

According to recent research, Indiana is currently second in vaccine distribution in the United States per 100 people.

Health leaders around the state are contributing to those vaccination efforts as are healthcare officials here at home, like those with the Dubois County Health Department, who worked tirelessly over the weekend to distribute 1,200 doses of the Moderna vaccine in a one-day mass vaccination clinic.
