Overnight Police Pursuit in Evansville Ends When Motorist Crashes into Porch of a Home

The police pursuit began just after midnight, ending with a crash into a porch of an Evansville home.

A pursuit from overnight leads to one being taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail.

Deputies tried to stop a car around 12:30 AM this morning after the driver failed to halt at a stop sign.

The driver identified as Jason Goss refused to pull over at the intersection of 7th Avenue and Florence Avenue, which resulted in the pursuit.

The chase spanned about three blocks when Goss ended up crashing into the porch of a near northside home.

He was taken to the hospital and then later booked in the Vanderburgh County Jail.
