An Owensboro, Kentucky pastry shop will remain closed throughout the week after a car crashed into the building.
The accident happened on Christmas Eve at Rolling Pin Pastry Shop on E. 18th St. in Owensboro, but owners say the store will now be closed through the rest of the week at a minimum.

A sign posted outside of the store by staff explains that the building must undergo structural inspection before it's able to reopen.
The crash caused damage to both the interior and exterior of the building, but thankfully, no one was injured as a result. The store now remains boarded-up as the structural integrity of the building is verified.
The car involved in the crash fled the scene but was later located by the Owensboro Police Department thanks to a customer who wrote down the vehicle's license plate number.
