Owensboro Health said Thursday that anyone age 16-years-old and above could now receive the COVID-19 vaccine at the facility.

OH says anyone interested in receiving the COVID-19 vaccine should sign up as soon as possible. Individuals who complete the sign-up process will be notified when an appointment becomes available.

Currently, any Kentuckian age 50 or older can schedule an appointment to receive the vaccine.

As of Monday, March 29, any Kentuckian age 40-years-old and up will become eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at any location in the Bluegrass State.

According to Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, all Kentuckians age 16 and up will become eligible to receive the vaccine by Monday, April 12.

If you're at least 16-years-old and would like to sign up for the COVID-19 vaccine through Owensboro Health, visit owensborohealth.org/vaccine to get started.

It's going to be a beautiful afternoon with highs topping out in the low to mid 60s. You better enjoy today because rain chances are moving in tonight. Unfortunately, they'll be sticking around for the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will have pop up shower chances with highs in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
