Owensboro Home Struck by Gunfire Early Monday Morning

Detectives with the Owensboro Police Department are investigating after a home was struck multiple times by gunfire early Monday morning.

A home in Owensboro, Kentucky was struck by gunfire multiple times early Monday morning, according to the Owensboro Police Department.

Officers responded to a home in the 3000 block of Allen Street around 3:38 a.m. on Monday after a firearm discharge was reported.

According to OPD, the residence, which was occupied, was struck multiple times by gunfire.

OPD says no one was injured as a result of the shooting.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and are asking anyone with more information to call OPD at 270-687-8888 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
