A story of recovery in the Tri-State goes viral on social media.

Jordan Wilson of Henderson shares his recovery story every year on March 27th, the day he became sober.

This past weekend he celebrated his five-year anniversary of being clean and telling his story in an emotional Facebook post.

As of this posting, his entry has over 42,000 shares, while the program has received several emails and messages due to the heartwarming post.

“I never expected my story to blow up like this, but I love that it’s giving people hope and bringing attention to the ministries I care so much about," said Wilson.

Along with some old mugshots and current pictures of his family, he tagged the program Friends of Sinners where he currently works as the Development Director.
