The Owensboro Parks and Recreation Department said Thursday that the City of Owensboro's Spray Parks would be closed soon.
Area residents are encouraged to enjoy the remaining few days of the season for the City Spray Parks as Spray Parks at all locations will close at the end of the day on Sunday, Sept. 27.
Spray Parks can be found around Owensboro at Legion Park, Kendall-Perkins Park, and Smothers Park.
The Parks and Recreation Department said the Spray Parks are set to reopen on Memorial Day weekend in 2021.
More information on Owensboro's parks can be found on the Owensboro Parks and Recreation website.
