The Masters tournament is finally upon us, and if you are looking to support a local start, look no further than Owensboro's John Augenstein.

Thursday began with a rain soaked three hour delay, which did not allow for day one to finish completely. One of those who will have to finish their 1st round is the Owensboro Catholic grad, who is currently tied in 34th at one under par through 12 holes of competition.

If the former Ace can stay on top of the other amateurs in the field, he will be recognized in Butler Cabin come the end of this prestigious tournament.
