Individuals who are currently eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in Indiana may now schedule an appointment to do so at Perry County Memorial Hospital (PCMH) in Tell City, Indiana.
The hospital began offering the vaccine on Friday after recently being approved as a Phase 1b Clinic.
In the current stage of Phase 1b, any Hoosier who is 70-years-old or older is now eligible to schedule a vaccination appointment. Other individuals who were previously eligible and remain eligible include long-term care residents, first responders, and licensed and unlicensed healthcare workers who have in-person contact with patients or infectious material in any healthcare setting.
The preliminary vaccination schedule at PCMH is as follows:
- Mondays from 08:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 06:30 p.m.
- Fridays from 08:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The PCMH COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic will be held in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Center at PCMH.
As the availability of the COVID-19 vaccine expands in Indiana, the next eligible groups will be Hoosiers age 60 and above.
