On Sunday night, Henderson Police responded to a Deaconess Hospital call in reference to a fight.

Officers say, when they arrived, they spoke with the initial caller Steven Ashby.

Ashby told officials that the other party struck him multiple times with fists and also damaged his vehicle.

Officers also spoke with the other party who advised that Ashby attempted to run him over with his pickup truck.

A witness confirmed the story, and after officers viewed surveillance footage, they confirmed Ashby was driving towards the other party.

Steven Ashby was then arrested and taken into custody at the Henderson County Detention Center.

Our snowy, slick start to the day gave way to a gloomy, gray and chilly afternoon throughout the Tri-State. After only reaching temperatures in the mid 30s early in the day, we will see temperatures gradually tumble back down into the upper 20s by 10 o’clock. Despite the gradual clearing conditions overnight (which would normally lead too a much colder morning), the mercury is expected to remain relatively stable into early Tuesday morning. The return of a southerly wind flow overnight will help keep the temperatures milder as we head towards daybreak.
