Over $1,000 dollars worth of damage was done at T&T Drugs in Henderson over the weekend after the police department says someone attempted to bust out the glass of the business's front door.

According to the Henderson Police Department, officers responded to T&T Drugs on Clay Street on Monday after an employee called and said someone had attempted to bust out the glass of the front door.

"We've had break-ins off and on the whole time I've been a pharmacist here," a pharmacist at T&T Drugs explained. "And I think most pharmacists have, probable more so in this neighborhood than others just because we're isolated out here, we're far away from the police station."

HPD says that while there was video surveillance of the incident, the identity of the suspect remains unknown.

Anyone with more information on the incident is asked to call HPD at 270-831-1295.

Scattered rainfall continues to affect portions of the Tri-State and it seems as though it will continue to do so through the remainder of the evening and overnight. After reaching an afternoon high near 80° earlier on, expect temperatures to gradually fall toward 70° by dinnertime before dwindling into the mid 60s by 10 o'clock. Overnight lows will dive all the way back down into the upper 50s by the predawn hours Wednesday; we'll fall to 58° in Evansville. The cold front and associated low responsible for all of our rain chances both today and tonight is expected to stall stall Wednesday, prolonging our isolated rain chances tomorrow, especcially for those of us north and east of Evasnville.
