According to the Posey County Sheriff's Office, 67-year-old Delbert Wayne McKinney of New Harmony, Indiana, has been arrested for Child Molestation and Failure of a Sex Offender to Possess Identification.

The sheriff's office says PCSO Detective Kyle Reidford was notified by the Indiana Department of Child Services on July 13 of a complaint of sexual abuse in New Harmony.

Detective Reidford then set up an interview at Holly's House in Evansville, Indiana, where the 12-year-old victim was interviewed.

The victim told Reidford that she was at a family friend's residence in New Harmony when McKinney touched her in an inappropriate manner.

According to PCSO, McKinney is currently on parole in the state of Indiana as a lifetime sex offender registrant for pleading guilty to one count of Child Molestation in 2018 in Posey Circuit Court.

McKinney was interviewed by Posey County Sheriff's Office detectives and as a result, was arrested in connection to the July 13 complaint.

McKinney was lodged in the Posey County Jail where he's being held without bond.

We're still waiting on the actual cold front to get here. That should arrive around dawn, bringing mainly light rain. The front may also be responsible for perking up a couple bands of heavier rain and lightning east of Evansville for midday Saturday.
