Three local pregnancy centers have received nearly 31,000 diapers through collections taken by the Right to Life of Southwest Indiana (RTLSWIN), the organization announced Thursday.

The pregnancy centers that received the diapers include Birthright in Evansville, the Evansville Christian Life Center in Evansville, and Marsha's Place in Henderson.

RTLSWIN says the diapers were collected with the help of ten churches that acted as collection stations, along with RTLSWIN's faithful donors.

“What a wonderful way to show love in a very real and tangible way, by helping supply diapers to centers that are on the front lines of helping moms navigate an unplanned pregnancy,” said Amy Davis, Family Life Coordinator for RTLSWIN. “The Churches for Life that participated in the Love from the Bottom Up Diaper Drive made a terrific showing this first year of participation."

Davis says she hopes the Bottom Up Diaper Drive can become an annual tradition.
