The Kentucky Transporation Cabinet (KYTC) is looking for the public's input on the Bluegrass State's transportation priorities.

KYTC says it's currently updating the Kentucky Long-Range Statewide Transportation Plan (LRSTP) which will help set the course for Kentucky's transportation systems through the year 2045.

Motorists who travel through Kentucky are being asked to take an online survey that will be used to help identify the states transportation goals, policies, needs, and priorities for years to come.

You can participate in the survey by clicking here. Survey entries will be accepted from now through Dec. 6.

Officials say Kentucky's LRSTP will be completed by December of 2022.

The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will make for another abnormally mild day throughout the Ohio Valley - expect an afternoon high temperature near 69° this afternoon. Friday evening looks as though it will be just as pleasant; after seeing the upper 60s earlier in the day, we'll dip to 60° by 5 PM before falling towards 54° around 7 o’clock. We are however, watching a passing low pressure system and accompanying cold front that is expected to pass through the Tri-State late Friday evening and early Saturday morning.
