The Evansville Aces Men's Basketball team bounce back from a Sunday loss to Southern Illinois, taking down the Salukis in game two of their two-game series 84-72 Monday.
The win also ended the longest win streak by the Salukis to start a season since the 1940's.
Sophomore guard Samari Curtis leading the way with 29 points in the contest, hitting six of eight of his 3-point attempts.
The Purple Aces will be back in action on Saturday and Sunday when they welcome the Northern Iowa Panthers to the Ford Center for their MVC home opener.
Tip time for both games is set for 3:00 PM.
