The Indiana Department of Transportation will be closing the crossing on State Road 550 in Wheatland.
A project to replace the crossing will get underway on March 8, the crossing is expected to be closed for about 4 days.
CSX crews will be working in Wheatland between N. Railroad Street West and Louisville Street.
Local traffic will have access up to the point of closure, but all thru traffic should use the official detour following U.S. 50, U.S. 41, and S.R. 67.
