The Reopen Evansville Task Force has launched a Rent & Utility Assistance Portal.

The portal connects Evansville residents who have been adversely impacted by COVID-19 with rent and utility financial aid, payment arrangement programs, and legal help.

According to the Reopen Evansville Task Force, the portal will be updated as more assistance becomes available.

The state-issued moratorium for evictions, foreclosures, and utility shut-offs expires August 14. Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb extended the moratorium for evictions and foreclosures to align with the executive order on the disconnection of utility services.
