Rockport Elementary School Principal Rick Hunt promised that if the school's students were able to raise over $6,000 during this year's PTO Walk-a-Thon, he'd kiss a pig.

So, after the fundraising event surpassed the $6,000 mark, that's exactly what Principal Hunt did.

The Rockport Elemtary's 2020 PTO Walk-a-Thon was the school's third installment of the event, and in total, $6,580 was raised.

"Our goal is to raise $6000! And, if we do... For the 3rd year in a row, Mr. Hunt will once again KISS A PIG! This year he promises it will be a real live, BIG pig!!!" Rockport Elementary School's fundraising post said.

According to Rockport Elementary, the PTO provides many things throughout each school year and sponsors several special events. In addition, it provides all students with school supplies, free of charge.

Students also received extra incentives for taking part in the fundraising event, such as restaurants and movie gift cards, zoo passes, and more.
