Scammers Now Taking Advantage of Those Booking Vacations Online

Scammers are now praying on those booking post-pandemic vacations online.

Each day more and more people are booking vacation, as we slowly get back to normal.

But now scammers are using this opportunity to trick victims into giving them their vacation money.

Oana Schneider with the Tri-State Better Business Bureau joined 44News This Morning to discuss the latest scam impacting the area.

With an increase of people planning post-pandemic vacations, many are turning to online sources trying to secure the best deal.

Schneider sharing a couple of tips to look for, insuring the site you use is secure, and that you receive the tickets and reservations you purchased.

But that's not always the case as thieves have secured domain names that might fool the average customer.
