Search for Missing Evansville Woman Continues

Evansville Police continue their search for Dawnita Wilkerson, who was last seen by family on June 21, 2020.

Evansville Police are still searching for a missing Evansville woman nearly a month after she was last seen by her family.

According to the Evansville Police Department, Dawnita Wilkerson was reported missing on June 22 by her family after last beeing seen by them on June 21.

Wilkerson is a black female who stands approximately 5'3" tall and weighs around 145 Lbs.

She has brown eyes and dark hair.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Wilkerson is asked to contact the EPD Adult Investigative Unit at 812-436-7979.

As for the evening ahead, cloud cover and cool air will linger - additionally, there have been reports of sporadic flurries on and off throughout the day and some portions in the Lower Ohio Valley may continue to see brief snow showers through 10 o’clock this evening. Our winds will shift southward overnight tonight into early Wednesday morning and while it won’t necessarily drive temperatures higher for the predawn hours, It will help keep temperatures from falling much further than where they currently stand.
