We are making a bit of an improvement in the temperature department this morning. The Tri-State is waking up to temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. Unfortunately, the gloomy skies will persist for much of the day, which will make it a struggle for temperatures to rise into the mid to upper-40s this afternoon. The seasonal conditions will be accredited to the return of the southwesterly wind flow that will remain in control through late week.
As for the next several days, get ready for a nice warm up accompanied by lots of sunshine! This is all thanks to high pressure taking over for the time being. After we get through tomorrow morning in the low 30s, temperatures will warm up into the mid-50s under mostly sunny skies. Not much will change for your Thursday. Partly sunny skies with temperatures topping out in the upper-50s.

Enjoy the nice weather because rain may be putting a damper on our weekend plans!
