Pop up showers will continue to be possible through the peak heating time of the day (12PM - 7PM). Get prepared for another toasty and humid afternoon. Cooler and comfortable air arrives by midweek.

TODAY: The passage of our latest cold front will not bring much relief from the unseasonable temperatures. Highs will range between the mid-to-upper 80s with a light northerly wind. Afternoon shower and storm chances will be isolated and limited but have the umbrellas just in case.

TONIGHT: Skies will clear. Expect a low of 67°.

Monday: The entirety of the Tri State will finally get away with a completely dry 24 hours. It will be the last 90-degree afternoon for the week.

NEXT WEEK: A slight intermission of cooler air coupled with lower humidity will eventually make its way to the Tri State by midweek. Tuesday and Wednesday will be sunny with highs in the lower-80s and morning lows in the upper-50s.

It was another chilly start across the Tri-State; while we only dipped as low as 43° in Evansville, many others across the Tri-State fell into the upper 30s earlier this morning. The cool air didn't linger long however, temperatures quickly reached back into the mid 70s across the region this afternoon - higher pressure camped out over the southeastern quarter of the country will continue to keep the skies above the Tri-State clear while gradually driving temperatures higher over the next few days. Despite our anticipated southerly winds this evening, you may still want to grab a jacket before your head out to dinner; after seeing a temperature near 64° around dinnertime, we'll fall off toward the mid to upper 50s by 10 o'clock. Overnight lows will again dwindle into the mid to low 40s for the majority of the Ohio Valley early Tuesday morning.
