We woke up to mild and damp conditions across the area this morning. Unfortunately, our Thursday isn't going to get much better from here after hitting our high in the low 60s during the first part of the day. Heading into this afternoon, it'll be mostly cloudy with sporadic showers. Blustery winds will be with us all day - some gusts could be as high as 30 mph at times.
While most of the rain activity will be scattered, we will put it to an end by the overnight hours. Here's the catch... we're getting rid of the wet weather, but the temperatures are going to drop big time heading into Friday morning. Get your winter coats ready. We will be walking out the door to temperatures in the mid 30s, but with gusty winds it could be feeling as bitterly cold as the low 20s.

Our Friday afternoon looks a bit more pleasant. We'll welcome in the crystal clear skies once again. The sunshine will stick around that afternoon, though breezy northeasterly winds will only allow our high to reach 53° in the River City.
