A reminder for drivers to be cautious during fall harvest season.
The Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Office says local farmers will be moving agricultural machinery along county roadways and drivers should be prepared for machinery to enter or exit a field from the roadway.
Officials say farm vehicles travel under 25 miles per hour and drivers should not attempt to pass slow moving farm equipment unless it is safe and legal to do so.
Another reminder: drivers should remain aware of deer.
Last year alone, officials say there were 196 crashes in Vanderburgh County which involved deer.
